Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) Manager - Renewable Energy Sector

Location: Austin, TX

Reports to: CEO

Job Summary:

Sabanci Renewables Inc. is seeking an experienced Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A) Manager to lead strategic initiatives in the renewable energy sector. This role is pivotal in driving growth through acquisitions, partnerships, and investments, ensuring the company maintains its leadership position in the rapidly evolving energy market. The M&A Manager will report directly to the CEO, playing a critical role in shaping the company's strategic direction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Execution: Develop and execute M&A strategies to expand Sabanci Renewables' footprint in the renewable energy sector, including solar, wind, and other clean energy technologies.
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets, joint ventures, and partnership opportunities aligned with the company’s strategic goals.
  • Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes, including financial analysis, risk assessment, and legal compliance, to ensure successful deal execution.
  • Negotiation & Deal Structuring: Negotiate terms and structure deals to maximize value while minimizing risks, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Integration Planning: Develop and oversee post-merger integration plans to ensure smooth transitions and realization of synergies.
  • Market Research: Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes that could impact the company’s M&A strategy.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, operations, and technical experts, to ensure thorough evaluation and successful execution of transactions.
  • Reporting: Provide regular updates to the CEO and senior leadership on deal progress, market conditions, and strategic recommendations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. A Master’s degree (MBA) or equivalent is preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions, with a strong focus on the renewable energy sector.
  • Skills:
    • Proven track record of successfully managing complex M&A transactions.
    • Strong analytical and financial modeling skills.
    • Excellent negotiation and communication abilities.
    • Ability to work effectively with senior executives and external stakeholders.
    • Deep understanding of the renewable energy market, including regulatory and environmental considerations.

Additional Information:
  • Salary Range:  $125.000 - $175.000
  • Working Hours: 170 Hours/Month
  • Working Model: Hybrid ( 3 days In-person, 2 days Remote)
  • Benefits: %100 Employer paid Health Insurance for only employees.
